In Reply Narod et al raise several concerns about our recent suggestion that women of Ashkenazi Jewish (AJ) ancestry consider comprehensive sequencing for inherited predisposition to breast and ovarian cancer. Our data led us to suggest that, given recent advances in sequencing technology and reductions in price, AJ women consider the same complete sequencing for all known breast cancer genes as women of other ancestries.
