Tail-of-the-Curve Evaluation With the American Society of Clinical Oncology Value Framework—Reply

In Reply We read with interest the letters by Cherny and de Vries and Vivot et al in response to our article. We appreciate the effort that the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) has put into analyzing the tails of the curves. We particularly appreciate the comprehensive updates to their framework, published in September 2017. Unfortunately, because our study concluded in August 2017, we were unable to analyze the tails using the ESMO update. We do agree, however, that this would be a worthy field for further study.
