Implications for a policy of initiating antiretroviral therapy in people diagnosed with human immunodeficiency virus: the CAPRA research programme.

This research programme found that a policy of initiating antiretroviral therapy at diagnosis of men who have sex with men would reduce new cases of HIV infection and have an incremental cost-effectiveness ratio of £20,000 per QALY.
