Fatigue as a symptom in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis: an observational study

Abstract

Fatigue is a common, debilitating symptom associated with chronic disease such as inflammatory disorders, heart disease, and cancer¹. Fatigue is described in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) where higher levels have been shown to correlate with pain, physical disability and psychological distress^2-5. Less is known about this important symptom in patients with psoriasis without joint involvement.
