Change is challenging, with a general resistance to change especially among radiologists and high chance of failure if not properly implemented. Handling changes, whether small or large is not part of radiology curriculum. However, in the business world, change management is a highly specialized discipline that has been extensively researched and has emerged as a vital skillset in the management of major projects. In this article, the authors discuss those strategies that can be useful for change management in radiology.
