Close Call

I was working in my office when I learned that my friend Meg had been critically injured in a car crash. I called Meg's husband, Mike, and learned that she had been cycling home from the YMCA when she was hit by a car from behind, pulled under, and dragged. The physicians were not sure that she would survive.
