Bullous Erythema Nodosum Leprosum as the First Manifestation of Multibacillary Leprosy: A Rare Phenomenon.

Erythema nodosum leprosum (ENL) may uncommonly present before treatment in patients with multibacillary leprosy. Atypical manifestations are known in ENL and may be clinically misleading. Such wide variations in the clinical presentation of leprosy in reaction make histopathology an important tool for supporting clinical diagnosis.
