Early Alteration in Apparent Diffusion Coefficient and Tumor Volume in Cervical Cancer Treated with Chemoradiotherapy or Radiotherapy: Incremental Prognostic Value over Pretreatment Assessments: Concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) is the established recommended treatment for patients with locally advanced uterine cervical cancer [1–4]. However, approximately 30% of cervical cancer patients receiving CCRT will develop local recurrence or distant metastasis [5]. Therefore, early identification of patients at higher risk of disease recurrences might be important for optimizing therapeutic strategies. There are several known prognostic factors, including nodal status and tumor size [6,7].
